A very good friend is cycling from Edinburgh to Glasgow, the "Awkward Way Round" - following the coast anti-clockwise as close as practical. It will be a long trip - some 800 odd miles over two weeks, variables according to weather etc. He is doing it solo (with possible occasional accompaniment as progress and friends allow) to raise funds for the MS Society of Scotland, MS has its highest rate if incidence in the world in Scotland.
